Building Farmer identity

UGAMउगम

One farmer. One identity.

A unified, portable digital identity for the farmer — the 12-digit UGAM ID and the UGAM Score — that finally makes them legible to credit, insurance and formal markets.

The problem

Why it needs to exist

A farmer today is scattered across a dozen disconnected records — land documents here, a ration card there, a loan file somewhere else — and not one of them travels with them or tells the full story.

Without a single, portable identity, the farmer stays invisible to the systems that could serve them. Formal credit, insurance, subsidy and fair markets all demand a legibility the farmer was never given the tools to prove.

The approach

What we're building

UGAM gives every farmer one identity that belongs to them — a 12-digit UGAM ID that links land, cultivation, transactions and history into a single trusted profile.

On top of it sits the UGAM Score: a living measure of activity and reliability that turns a lifetime of real farming into something a bank, an insurer or a buyer can finally act on.

How it works

From idea to the last mile

01

A farmer enrols once, through a trusted Hesaathi.

02

The UGAM ID links land, cultivation and activity into one profile.

03

Ongoing transactions — including Saudā auctions — enrich the record.

04

The UGAM Score unlocks credit, insurance and formal-market access.

Why it works

The model

Owned by the farmer

Identity that travels with the person, not the institution.

Built from real activity

The Score reflects what the farmer actually does, not a form they filled.

A foundation, not a silo

Designed for other ventures and lenders to build on.
