Why it needs to exist
Hundreds of millions of informal workers and micro-entrepreneurs are invisible to formal credit. However reliably they've paid their way for years, the system holds no record of it — so it says no.
Without a credit identity, the very people who most need affordable capital are pushed to the most expensive, informal sources. It is a tax on being unseen.
What we're building
Bharosa builds a credit identity from the signals informality already generates — the Vishwas Score (0–1000) for creditworthiness and the Rozgar Score for livelihood stability.
It translates a lifetime of real, informal reliability into a transparent, portable score that gives a formal lender a reason to finally say yes.
From idea to the last mile
Aggregate the signals informality already produces — trade, repayment, work.
Compute a transparent Vishwas Score and Rozgar Score.
Give the individual a portable credit identity they own.
Give lenders the confidence to extend fair, affordable credit.
The model
Built from reality
The score reflects real behaviour, not paperwork.
Portable and owned
A credit identity that follows the person.
A rail for lenders
Infrastructure the whole credit ecosystem can plug into.
Where it's headed
Score design and signal aggregation.
Proving the score against real lending.
The credit identity layer for the informal economy.
